Once again, we're hiring!
This time we're looking for an inspirational COO.
What's that you ask? Chief Overwhelmed Officer? Definitely not. A Co-ordinator of Overachievers? Well, maybe. A Creator of Opportunities? Now we're talking.
As brap’s Chief Operations Officer you will be joining and contributing to one of the most progressive equality and human rights charities in the UK. We're looking for someone who knows that brap has often been ahead of thinking and practice in the area of equity and appreciates the ongoing challenge of delivering a national portfolio of work which covers learning and development, research and evaluation, community development, and specialist areas such as investigations and conflict resolution.
Our ideal candidate will have an interest not only in contributing to a charity with 25 years of work behind it, but in ensuring that the organisation has a future which is progressive and productive. You will be a talented leader, someone who can recognise the importance of systems and processes, whilst also knowing when to adapt and flex. As your role will be centred around securing ongoing resources for the organisation, you will be someone who understands that what we do is just as important as securing the funds to deliver it. You will be able to ‘see’ and capitalise on opportunities, not only in the area of writing bids and proposals, but through partnerships and other types of activities. You will recognise that brap’s strength is in its people, and you will not only want to be a ‘brap person’ but also the kind of individual who recognises our reputation in this field.
Want to know more? Have a look at the job description below. If it sounds up your street, please email severinen@brap.org.uk for an application form.
Applications close at 23:59 on Thursday 27 March and interviews will take place on Friday 4 April 2025. If you have any questions or queries, please feel free to drop us a line.
